Giving Dedoose Permission to Run in Flash

Trying to log in to Dedoose but keep getting the note above even after you have updated your Adobe Flash Player? Then you just have to give Dedoose permission to use Flash! Follow the steps below to get Dedoosing now:

  1. Click the Customize and control Google Chrome button on to the right of the address bar
  2. Click Settings
  3. Click Show advanced settings…
  4. Under Privacy, click Content settings…
  5. Scroll to Flash
  6. Go to the Allow section at the bottom
  7. Click ADD on the right
  8. Input app.dedoose.com
  9. Click ADD
  10. Close and restart your browser

  1. Go to Dedoose.com
  2. Click Log In
  3. Right click anywhere on the page
  4. Click Page Info
  5. Click Permissions
  6. Go to Activate Plugins
  7. Click Allow for Adobe Flash

  1. Go to Dedoose.com
  2. Click Log In
  3. Click the Gear Icon on the top right of your browser
  4. Click Manage Add-ons
  5. Right click on Shockwave Flash Object
  6. Click More Information
  7. Click Remove All Sites
  8. Click Close
  9. Ensure Shockwave Flash Object is Enabled
  10. Reload the login page
  11. Click Allow when prompted at the bottom

  1. Go to Dedoose.com
  2. Click Login
  3. Click Safari on the top left
  4. Click Preferences…
  5. Click Security
  6. Click Plug-in Settings…
  7. Ensure Adobe Flash Player is checked
  8. Under “When visiting other websites:” select Off
  9. Under Currently Open Websites set app.dedoose.com to On
  10. Click Done
